I won a contest!!


I am so excited! I entered my very first Deviant contest and won! Here is a link to see what it was all about and to veiw the other wonderful entries.
I am so honored and happy as there were so many wonderful artist in the conest that I never thought about winning. I am just in total shock! A BIG THANKS to the voters!

To other stuff;
I am working on a commission. I only take on one or two commissions a year because of my time limit. This one just hit me at the right time. She is looking really sweet and I am to the point with her that I am starting to get excited. I haven't put her wig on yet so she still has a little bald head but I can already tell she is going to be really special. I hope to have her finished this week but I won't get pictures of her for another week as I am heading to New Orleans this weekend for a little R&R.
I am very happy and honored that my lady sculpts have been well received as I for so long have only concentrated on the little girls. It has been a wonderful growing experience for me to branch out of my comfort zone and do something a bit different.

I had an article come out on me and my work in the March issue of Doll Reader. It was a great article by a really nice writer.

And last but not least the "Goose Report"... So those eggs hatched.. it was SEVEN! And then they vanished. I grieved for 2 weeks imagining all kinds of horrors happening to those babies. Oddly though Mom and Pop goose never left the site so I begin to have suspisions the babies were still around but hidden. I was right! I figured out they were hiding in the run off drain of the pond. Though not completely good news.. one baby goosling out of seven survived. I saw it up until last week and though the parents are still lurking about I haven't sighted the baby again. I figure if Mom and Pop are still around then the babe is stil there.. somewhere.
In the process of all this, a duck took me by suprise with her one hatchling. They also though soon vanished~

Okay I will vanish now before I write a book~
